Sandra Saldana is the CEO and Co-Founder of Alva Health, a MedTech startup that is developing a remote monitor that detects neurological injury and stroke, for people living with chronic risk of cardiovascular disease. Sandra is a scientist by training with a lifelong interest and passion to improve human health through the development, application and commercialization of innovative technologies. Sandra has completed a B.A. in biological sciences at Cornell University, a Ph.D. in cancer biology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and an MBA in health care management at the Yale School of Management.
