George Baker, Sr. of 2 the Moon Ventures to be featured at DallasMeetup

DallasMeetup is thrilled to announce that George Baker, Sr., Founder and Managing Partner of 2 The Moon Ventures, is our latest Featured Networker to debut for DallasMeetup at Community Beer Co.!

George is a true believer in process. In his life’s work, at ParkHub and his portfolio  investments via 2 the Moon Ventures, his track record is one of seeing the future and  making it happen today.

George’s investments have transcended the parking industry, seeing him support  founders with diverse ventures in the technology, apparel, food & beverage, sports &  entertainment, and commercial real estate. 

He is the founder of the Stadia Confederation, a think tank composed of sports &  entertainment industry executives dedicated to driving fan experience through  technology. George is also a partner in the Belclaire Companies, a full-service real  estate development, investment, management, and brokerage firm. 

An in-demand speaker from the podium or on panels, George has earned recognition  for his work at national, regional, and local levels. He is the winner of the 2016 Greater  Dallas Business Ethics Award, a 2016 and 2023 finalist for EY Entrepreneur of the Year,  recipient of the National Parking Association 40 under 40 award 2016, Dallas Business  Journal 40 under 40 award 2018, Electronic Transaction Association Forty under 40  class of 2019, and 2019 Innovator of the Year for National Parking Association. 

He is an active member of YPO, a global organization of extraordinary executives,  mentor for the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas Social Innovation Accelerator and  the DEC Network and Cubmaster for Pack 71 of Boys Scouts of America. George  serves on the boards for Engage Dallas, Texas Discovery Gardens, the Alliance for  Parking Industry Data Standards, YPO Wild West Chapter and remains Chairman for  ParkHub. 

George Baker is a 2003 graduate of the University of Arizona, with a Bachelor of  Applied Science degree in Regional Development and City Planning focusing on  sustainability and environmental design. 

When he’s not leading and advising entrepreneurial teams, he’s at his home in Dallas,  Texas, spending time with his wife Chelsey and their two children, George II and Kuper.  George is a proud Eagle Scout and Cubmaster, Past Worshipful Master of his Texas  Masonic Lodge, and devoted member of the Highland Park United Methodist Church  congregation.
