DallasMeetup is thrilled to announce that James Wang, Founder of Mimosa Ventures, is our latest Featured Networker to debut for February's DallasMeetup at Community Beer Co. 🥂

James Wang is a seasoned investor, mentor, and advisor with extensive experience in finance, technology, and entrepreneurship. As the founder of Mimosa Ventures, an early-stage venture capital fund, he focuses on seed and Series A investments in technology, energy, and healthcare, offering strategic support to startups.

Previously, he served as VP of Finance at Scoot, where he led the finance department and shepherded the company through its Series A funding. With nearly a decade at Alerian as Director of Data Science, James has deep expertise in product development, management, and energy infrastructure. A The Johns Hopkins University graduate with a degree in Biomedical Engineering, he combines technical acumen with a passion for innovation. James is also a member of the North Texas Angel Network, as well as serving as a mentor with The DEC Network, actively working to strengthen the Dallas entrepreneurial ecosystem.
